Delancey's Cocktail Bar Sibling Essex Plans August Open

The Ballard microhood helmed by Delancey and The Fat Hen will have a cocktail bar joining the mix in August. Back in April, Delancey's Brandon Pettit and Molly Wizenberg announced plans to open Essex in the space formerly occupied by Bella Umbrellas. The relaxed, neighborhood cocktail bar will feature house made bitters and amaro, among other treats. Per their Facebook post, "As of August 2...wallpaper up, back bar in progress, banquette in progress, lights going in." Right now, they are projecting a mid-August opening.
