Washington Beer Blog's Kendall Jones focuses on craft beer these days, but once upon a time in these here parts, Rainier Beer was ubiquitous. There's a clever social media campaign to restore the iconic "R" sign and exhibit it when MOHAI reopens in December. Point of fact: Rainier has won six medals (the last in 2005) at the Great American Beer Festival in the category of Best American Light Lager and Best American-Style Lager. [WBB]
