Adam Gold, former VP of research at Food Network and longtime Northwest resident, plans to open a casual, quick-serve turkey restaurant called, Gobble. Location is in the Woodgate Mall. Gold promises "everything turkey, on a plate," hot dishes, sandwiches, a kids' menu, eat-in and to-go, seven days a week. The space, just off Woodinville's downtown core, will seat 50 at farmhouse-style tables. Mid-October is the target opening date.
It's Gold's first time as an owner, but he's been involved in the restaurant business as a network executive (he had a hand in the Iron Chef America concept) and as a branding consultant for the past 20 years.
