Ballard Tuscan restaurant Volterra will open a second outpost in Kirkland on Monday, September 10. Husband and wife co-owners Don Curtiss (who serves as chef) and Michelle Quisenberry (runs front of house) have situated the new restaurant in a mixed-use condo development at 121 Kirkland Avenue. Volterra in Kirkland will only serve dinner this month, but in October, the plan is to add lunch service and a happy hour. [EaterWire]
