Hey, look who's back!
Brian Cartenuto, who made a name for himself in Seattle as the opening chef of Cantinetta (way back before there was a Bellevue branch), is back in Seattle after a few years stint in Florida, where he ran his gourmet burger brainchild: Tucker Duke's. Just two days after stepping off a plane at Sea-Tac, Cartenuto will join the kitchen team at Local 360. He starts tomorrow (Wednesday).
Executive Chef Robin Leventhal has already made her mark on the restaurant, recently bringing on two new cooks to help her revamp the Belltown gastropub. Right now, Cartenuto's role is being kept under wraps, but regardless, it will be interesting to see how his job evolves. And...does this mean we will see more pasta on the menu?
