Ballard Scores a New Brewery; 'Layover' Viewing Party

BALLARD— Another place to drink beer is coming to Ballard. Populuxe Brewing is slated to open by the end of the month. The owners tell the My Ballard blog that they've started a founders club to raise opening funds. For $100, you get a Populuxe t-shirt, your own engraved 20 oz. glass which will be kept at the brewery, and invitations to special events. [MyBallard]

BALLARD— Also coming to Ballard: full-time pizzas on the Golden Beetle menu. GB Headquarters says originally offered only as specials, the uber popular wood-fired pizzas are now a permanent fixture on the menu —at least for this month. [EaterWire]
