The Boom (sans Noodle) team is replacing their Bellevue Boom with a new higher-end izakaya concept called Kaisho.
The man behind the project (and former corporate chef for Masaharu Morimoto), Jeffrey Lunak, tells Seattle Met "the new spot will be approachable, heavy on the small plates, and, like Boom, pull from a variety of Asian influences."
Kaisho will be family-friendly, have a full bar, and will be mildly cozy with seating for about 100 people tops. It's expected to open sometime in November.
