Events on Tap: Winter Mobile Feast; PhinneyWood Pig Out; Bahaus Closing Party

FREMONTSeattle Met has more details about the Mobile Food Rodeo's Winter Mobile Feast, which is returning for its second year on Sunday, November 17. Marination, Off The Rez, Where Ya At Matt and Ezell's Express are just some of the food trucks participating. Each truck will create a $5 warm-and-fuzzy cold weather-inspired bite, including red wine–braised rabbit pozole with winter vegetables from Nosh and a creamy butternut squash and sage soup with duck confit from Evolution Revolution. CAPITOL HILL— A reminder from CHS that the original Bauhaus will be closing Sunday around 1 am after its 20-year anniversary celebration. It's not going away, it's just moving two blocks down the street (in the former Capitol Club space) while the building that houses its current space goes through some big time redevelopment. Look for it to reopen in its new space in early November. (CHS also has a collection of Bauhaus pictures from their archives). [CHS]

PHINNEY RIDGE— This year, the annual Phabulous PhinneyWood Pig Out hopes to trump the five-grand it raised last year for the Phinney Neighborhood Association's Hot Meal Program. Thirty neighborhood restaurants, pubs and coffee shops will donate a portion of their sales to the cause next Wednesday, October 9, including: 74th Street Ale House, Baranof, El Chupacabra, Stumbling Goat and Bluebird Microcreamery. The entire list is online, as well as information on where to send direct donations. [PNA]
