Eat Pre-Opening Treats From Tallulah's, Hello Robin

They aren't quite open yet, but Tallulah's (Linda Derschang's forthcoming restaurant) and Hello Robin (ice cream and cookies) will both be representing at the 19th & Delicious Block Party on Saturday, October 12 to celebrate the food and culture of Capitol Hill's 19th Avenue.

In addition to the up-and-comers, old standbys Kingfish Cafe, Molly Moon's and Fuel Coffee will also be offering treats for purchase. (Where be you, Cone & Steiner?)

All proceeds benefit the Jubilee Women's Center. Party central happens at the intersection of 19th and Mercer from noon to 5 pm.

UPDATE: Cone & Steiner will, in fact, be involved! They'll be sharing space with Fuel and High 5, passing out promo materials and having folks fill out sample grocery lists. But no food, it sounds like.
