An Eastlake staple for fresh baked goods (hello, giant cinnamon rolls), hearty lunches and lingering breakfasts for nearly 20 years, Louisa's has decided it wants to get into the nightlife game.

Owner-slash-bartender, Alcena Plumon, is adding a bar to the cafe on October 14 to give her customers a new place to go at night. The bar will have four "intimate window booths" and a late night menu that includes comforty-type things, like: mini mac & cheese, ham and cheese croissants and other various small plates. There's even word of continuing the fresh baked cinnamon rolls into the wee hours. Please, let this be a real thing.

In order to accommodate the addition of a bar, Louisa's will be extending their hours: Monday-Thursday, 7 am to midnight; Friday, 7 am to 2 am; Saturday, 8 am to 2 am and Sunday, 8 am to midnight.

Louisa's will also be offering table service during the weekdays, in addition to weekend brunch.
