Come On, Get Happy

ground-control.jpgTan Vinh of the Seattle Times gets a taste of old Georgetown at Ground Control. The cramped space is the sibling bar to Brass Tacks — the same owners bought it when it was just a coffee shop and transformed it into a place for cocktails and sandwiches. When it comes to happy hour, the food comes from BT (order the burger). "Cocktails ($6) are a good happy-hour deal, but hardly any locals go that route. It's all about the $1 Rainier tallboys."
