Montana Bar[Thrillist]
The gals behind Montana Bar on Capitol Hill, Rachel Marshall (of Rachel's Ginger Beer) and Kate Opatz, are opening what is sure to become Seattle's next beacon of cheap Mexican food, beer and tequila: Nacho Borracho.
According to Seattle Met, the ladies are transforming the old Ooba Tooba space at 209 Broadway E. just in time to throw away any New Year's resolutions pertaining to losing weight and drinking less (read as: around January). On the menu: enormous platters of late-night nachos, seven-layer dip, Frito pie, and housemade queso. And cocktails. Lots of them.
David Gurewitz, a former Lark sous and the guy behind the Big Trouble in Little Uncle pop-up, designed the menu. Says Marshall, "We're not chefs. If we're going to do food, we're going to do it well."
