And it's going to be held at Miyabi 45th on December 15.
The Sunday supper will feature a three course menu for $28, excluding drinks, tax and tip. Says Nakamura, who closed her Orcas Island restaurant, Allium, in September:
I am doing this in part to see how a gnocchi-centric restaurant might fare in Seattle, and to pique the interest of any potential investors out there.
The pop-up will feature a choice between two non-gnocchi starters, three gnocchi entrees and three desserts (also non-gnocchi).
Nakamura also has a lunch pop-up planned for December 6, but no other details have been confirmed.
She also says the response to this gnocchi dinner has been pretty great, which means more potential pop-ups "and hopefully a gnocchi-centric restaurant in the very near future!" Early word from chef is that it will be called Gnocchi Bar and will not have a set menu, "I am trying to keep the menu items and pricing [at this pop-up] as close to what dishes would be at Gnocchi Bar, when it does open (fingers crossed)."
There are still seats available for dinner. Call for reservations: (206) 632-4545.
