four-star-sushi.jpgThe man who apprenticed for sushi giant Jiro Ono (of Jiro Dreams of Sushi fame) in Tokyo before coming to take a job at Shiro's, just landed a very, very rare prize. Daisuke Nakazawa received a four-star review from The New York Times for his NYC restaurant, Sushi Nakazawa. Critic Pete Wells wrote that Nakazawa made him the four "most enjoyable and eye-opening sushi meals" of his life. Rebekah Denn has more details over at The Seattle Times. And celeb-chef David Chang even Instagrammed a celebratory moment with Nakazawa. [The Seattle Times]
