BALLARD— This month marks the 10-year anniversary for La Carta de Oaxaca and they are celebrating with a week-long happy hour that ends December 21. They will also be open on Sunday, December 22 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. for brunch and a special holiday menu. General manager Roberto Dominguez tells MyBallard that they do "not usually have a happy hour and are normally closed on Sundays, so we hope our customers can take part in the celebration." The happy hour includes specials on mezcal flights and shots, top-shelf tequila margaritas, and complementary bar snacks with every mezcal flight. [MyBallard]

PIONEER SQUARELittle Uncle will be hosting a family style dinner at their Pioneer Square location on Saturday, January 18, which will diverge from their typical "ahaan jan diow", or one-plate meals, and showcase their creative muscles. The draft menu includes appetizers, soup, curry, salad, fish, poultry and pork. It will also feature new creations like shrimp paste coated black cod, a Northern style soup with pork belly and pork blood, crispy three way pork salad, and grilled small birds. Tickets are $60. Get yours by emailing info@littleuncleseattle.com with the subject "January 18th dinner". [EaterWire]
