Hummingbird Saloon Has Giant Chess, Pints, Pasties

New, 1 comment

The new bar from Columbia City Full Tilt owner, Ken Anderson, is now in full-swing. Hummingbird Saloon opened quietly February 15th. The place, a former print shop right next door to Anderson's ice cream shop on Rainier Ave. S., offers liquor, Cornish-style pasties, and pints of both beer and Full Tilt ice cream. There's also happy hour from 4 to 6 pm — the perfect opportunity to check the place out without fully committing. In keeping with the arcade style Full Tilt is known for, Hummingbird also has a jukebox, shuffleboard and a giant chess table complete with stools from the old Fun House.

This isn't a craft-beer type of place; this is stiff drinks and hearty food all the way.
