Molly Moon Neitzel (yes, that Molly Moon) has created a fund to help deliver milk to families in need. As part of the Anna Banana Fund, named after her sister who died after a motorcycle accident in 2009, Seattle's ice cream maven has arranged for fresh milk delivery for those utilizing the Family Works Food Bank in Wallingford. Says Neitzel:
About 350 households utilize the Family Works Food Bank per week, and I couldn't envision a more appropriate way to honor Anna's memory, her love of milk, and her giving spirit than to create a fund that will provide each of those families with plenty of milk to drink.
Ten-bucks a month will provide milk each week for families who rely on the neighborhood food bank. You can learn more and donate on the official website.
