Capitol Hill Landmark Bites the Dust

New, 1 comment

The building that once housed B&O Espresso, a landmark restaurant on the corner of Belmont and Olive for nearly four decades, is being torn down to make way for a six-story mixed-use project.

B&O moved to Ballard after closing its Capitol Hill location December 9.

Owner Jane Luktha told the Capitol Hill Times that she is hopeful the owner of the new building (that includes an underground parking garage — score!) will let her reopen B&O when it's complete in a couple of years.
