Busy, busy, busy.

Josh Henderson is not only planning two new Lake Union projects this summer — in addition to his Woodinville burger joint — but now word on the street is that he's opening a second Skillet Diner in Ballard, where, despite all of the dining options, there isn't really much competition when it comes to the type of food on his menu: poutine, pork belly & waffle, cheddar cheese grits, burgers, yougettheidea.

Henderson tells Seattle Met the new 100-seat space will have a much larger bar—probably 15 or 20 seats compared with the eight on Capitol Hill. He also says while the bones of the Skillet Diner menu will be intact, there will be some additional items just for Ballard.

The brand new, shiny-as-an-airstream Skillet Diner will open near the Ballard library branch at 2034 NW 56th Street.
