Madison Park Conservatory, long closed Sundays and Mondays, has decided to open the upstairs bar on Mondays from 5 to 9 pm.
Beginning April 1, the Library.Study.Lounge (as commonly referenced by chef/co-owner Cormac Mahoney) will offer happy hour from 5 to 6 with a bar menu that's pretty goddamn sweet sounding. According to Camp MPC:
Bar menu rules with the burger and beef tongue joined by fried rabbit, steak tartar and bone marrow tots and an intermittent smattering of coco piggy tacos and chicken-fried french toast with foie butter. Disgusting. But so are Mondays, so take a deep breath and eat a salad on Tuesday.
And also, because why not, MPC is knocking 50% off the dinner tabs of the first 51 people who bring in a framed portrait of themselves in their so-called awkward years for permanent display in the Library.Study.Lounge. Maybe it's an April Fools joke, but it sure will be fun either way to see those framed photos. The one pictured here is of Mahoney with his faux-hawk/mullet.
In addition to Mondays, the Library.Study.Lounge is open Tuesday – Saturday from 5 pm until late.
