Vegging Out

The meatless crowd will be converging on the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall this weekend as VegFest gets underway. During the two-day event, there will be more than 500,000 free food samples from more than 200 companies. In addition to food, there will be guest speakers and healthy cooking demos. Billed as the country's largest vegetarian festival, VegFest will be held Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm. The cost is $8, or free for kids 12 and under. [EaterWire]
