As part of Eater's second ever burger week, chefs at five Seattle restaurants have happily agreed to make a special limited edition burger (some of which will be on their menus this week). Today, Josh Henderson's Hollywood Tavern Burger.
It won't open until this summer, but here's a sneak peek of the Hollywood Tavern Burger, coming to Woodinville this August (fingers crossed).
Says the man behind the new wine country venture, Josh Henderson:
This is going to be one of Hollywood Tavern's signature burgers. We take brisket, shortrib, chuck...loose grind it and sear it on a griddle. For the bun, our inspiration is a Parker House roll, so a milk bun-style roll butter toasted on a griddle. The cheese is also something a little more unique; we wanted a cheese that was oozy like American, but made with great cheese. So, we make our own "American" cheese, which is a combination of cheddar, jack and gruyere and essentially has the texture of a gooey fonduta. The rest of the burger is tied together with house made pickles, shredded lettuce and a special sauce. After you snap out of your burger haze, check out the photo gallery above.
