Bakery Nouveau, the ridiculously popular bakery in West Seattle, is officially serving croissants, desserts, chocolates, over-the-top-cakes, and all sorts of other treats at its brand new second outpost at 15th and John on Capitol Hill. Doors opened at 8 am this morning.
Owner William Leaman tells CHS that he's moving all chocolate and candy production to the new kitchen, which employs 20 people.
Inside, a giant display counter runs the length of the bakery's entrance and seating area, while "the back corner houses an espresso bar powered by a Slayer machine — one of only a small handful operating in the state," Leaman says.
After today's launch, regular shop hours will be:
M-Th: 6 am to 7 pm
Fri: 6 am to 9p
Sat: 7 am to 9p
