The Sixgill Opens Today, Sans Furniture

Hey, at least they know how to stick to their word.

Last month, owner Ellen Kelly said she and her partner Rick Weersing were shooting for a mid-April opening, and damn if they aren't just about right on schedule. Kelly says:

We figured folks are coming for the awesome beer, booze and food, and they know the quality they will get with [us], so dealing with somewhat awkward rental tables for a week, and not having all of our art up on the walls, shouldn't make or break their experience. We figured it is time to relax and have fun and the other pieces will fall into place shortly!

The Sixgill, located in the Saturn building, is 2400 square feet of floor-to-ceiling windows, which will be perfect for sipping on one of the 30 tap beers on a sunny day like today.
