PIKE PLACE MARKET— Here's a slideshow featuring six of Radiator Whiskey's cocktails. Slide #7 is a photo of what's become one of their signature dishes: smoked pig face. There's also a nice, albeit brief, shout out to bar manager Sara Rosales, who has the task of pairing her drinks with the rich smoked meats. "Amaro and whiskey don't make salad cocktails," she says. TACOMA— After a three-month shutdown for major remodeling, the popular Harbor Lights restaurant overlooking Commencement Bay on Tacoma's Ruston Way has reopened with a new menu and much, much bigger windows. A full 70-percent of the menu is new, according to Lane Hoss, marketing director of Anthony's Restaurants. However, pan-fried oysters (16.95) are still on the menu; so is the four-pound bucket of clams ($34.95). [~ESEA~]
SODO— Henry's Tavern is officially open for business. Already a popular staple in Portland's Pearl District, this new SODO Henry's (next door to Dreamgirls in the Taylor Edwards Building) offers more than 100 beers on tap, including the signature frost top drink rail to keep pints cold. Henry's is open M-Thurs 11 am to 10 pm, Fri-Sat until 11 pm, and Sunday until 9 pm. The good news here is that Henry's will open three hours before events at Safeco or CenturyLink Fields. [EaterWire]
