PIONEER SQUARE— The guys behind Sous Sol have turned to Kickstarter to help them raise enough money to complete the buildout of their Pioneer Square winery. SEATTLE— The Daily Meal has named Starbucks CEO/Chairman/Founder Howard Schultz America's Most Powerful in Drink, stating: "The chain is hoping that its boost from ready-to-drink products, like the new Iced Coffee lineup or the Evolution Juices, as well as an overhaul of supermarket sales, will help it retain its hold on the coffee scene in America." PIKE PLACE MARKET— Marché's annual rosé party is returning Friday, June 7 from 4:30 pm until the rosé runs dry. Cyril, the wine director, has sourced some fantastic and varied rosés just for this very occasion. In addition to pink drink, there will be live music from The Millionaires' Club, street food, oysters and plenty of (regular ol') wine. According to the Facebook invite, "The courtyard will be jamming, the wine will be flowing and the oysters we'll be shucking! Don't miss the proper way to start the season." [EaterWire]
