Delicatus Starts Brunch, Early Coffee & Pastry Service

Not just for sandwiches anymore!

Delicatus is ditching their 11 am lunch opening to foster morning coffee and homemade pastry service starting at 8 am Monday through Friday.

Straight from the mouth of co-owner Mike Klotz:

"With The Kitchen rolling, we are able to bake our own items for AM service. We are starting with savory scones, coffee cake, granola, blueberry bran muffins, seasonal fruit breakfast bar, etc. As we progress at The Kitchen, we will begin to also offer some savory breakfast stuffed pastries for the morning crowd."

In even better news, Delicatus is launching brunch at 10 am this Sunday. Here's the menu:

Bread Pudding French Toast
Blueberry and Brioche Bread Pudding Grilled on Cast Iron and Topped with Honey Butter and Maple Syrup, Served with 1 Piece Zoe's Bacon

Mini Breakfast Sandwich
Scrambled Egg, Bacon, Chive Aioli, Cheddar, Spinach on Brioche

Corned Beef Hash
House made w/ a bit of House Kraut, topped with Two Fried Eggs, Fresh Rosemary and 2 Slices of Rye Toast

Breakfast Salad
Field Greens, Balsamic Vinaigrette, Grape Tomatoes, Guanciale, Grilled Bread & Poached Egg

Delicatus Bloody Mary
A Specialty of the House with Delicatus Bloody Mary Mix, House Spiced 100 proof Vodka, Roasted Lamb Stock & Delicatus Spiced Salt Rim

Brunch will be offered Sundays, with Saturdays to follow at some point.

Klotz also says that they're going to start producing their own sausages and pastrami, with an eye for corned beef as well as roast beef in the near future.
