Seattle Ranks Last in Chinese Restaurant Patronage

New, 14 comments

For as much as Seattle dines out, there seems to be a wide gap when it comes to Chinese food.

According to surveys conducted by Scarborough Research, less than a third of people in the Seattle metropolitan area say they've eaten in a Chinese restaurant in the past 30 days. You know what that sound is? Last place.

As The Seattle Times points out, more than half the population in top-ranked San Francisco say they've enjoyed a meal at a Chinese restaurant within the past month. That's 63 percent higher than Seattle.
