A Seattle man who is quickly winning over barbecue fans will get the chance to cook for a pretty big deal barbecue expert on Thursday. Seattle Met reports that Jack Timmons of the Seattle Brisket Experience will be hosting Daniel Vaughn, who will be promoting his new book The Prophets of Smoked Meat: A Journey Through Texas Barbecue, the first title in Anthony Bourdain's new publishing venture. Both Amazon and ABC will be filming. Speaking of pressure, Timmons says, "Honestly, every time I cook this stuff I'm nervous." [Seattle Met]
