Little Uncle Opens in Pioneer Square Today

Remember those Little Uncle expansion plans? They're happening, like, right now.

Owners PK and Wiley Frank will open the new location of their popular Thai takeout nook for lunch today at 11 am in the former home of Marcus' Martini Heaven at 88 Yesler Way.

Seattle Met has the menu scoop, which they report is a mix of greatest hits from the Capitol Hill shack that also includes "dishes that are too complicated for the other location's limited equipment," such as the hoy tord — a big, crispy rice crepe done on an oversized flattop with mussels, egg, and bean sprouts.

Little Uncle's Madison takeout spot will continue to operate as usual, and the new location will be open weekdays from 11 am to 3 pm. You can get updates on both places on the LU Facebook page.
