Parfait Scoop Shop and Patisserie Coming to Ballard

Already a big hit with her mobile ice cream truck, Adria Shimada is planning to open her first Parfait retail shop in Ballard this August in the Greenfire Campus, which will also house the new Skillet Diner.

The atelier will be part creamery and part patisserie, with an expanded menu of homemade products. States a press release:

The shop's rotating baked goods will support Parfait's ice cream offerings to include: profiteroles filled with ice cream, mini ice cream sandwiches, confections, and ice cream cakes and pies that can be enjoyed in the store or taken home.

Beverages will include sodas with house made organic syrups, French press coffee from Caffe Fiore, Parisian hot chocolate and an assortment of teas.

Also, the shop is going to be super kid friendly, with not only child-sized ice cream scoops, bars and push-up pops, but a dedicated play area (a collaboration with Ballard's Clover toy store). Score one for the kiddos.
