It's still not totally complete, but Eric Donnelly is holding what he calls a "casual open house get together" on Friday to show off his new Fremont seafood restaurant. On the Facebook page for RockCreek, the former Toulouse Petit chef says:
I will be grilling some oysters along with oysters on the half shell, grilling some steaks with heirloom tomatoes and salsa verde. We will be pouring rose and a keg of Red Hook.
He and his crew just completed the patio, which will make for a nice venue if the sun holds out long enough.
The party goes from 5-8pm. Donnelly is expecting to officially open RockCreek sometime in July.
