Kyle MacLachlan at Lost Lake; Underwater-Themed Events

CAPITOL HILL— Kyle MacLachlan is trading Twin Peaks for just one (Capitol Hill) when he heads to Lost Lake Cafe tonight after he receives an award for Outstanding Achievement at the Uptown theater. He's expected to show up around 9:30 pm. It's probably safe to assume that pie and coffee will be the first menu items to go. [EaterWire]

CAPITOL HILL— Down the hill at Linda's Tavern, you'll be able to relive your prom, but this time with legal drinking and self-awareness. Linda's is hosting their third annual prom on June 5 starting at 8 pm. There will be an Olive Garden-inspired menu of soup, salad and breadsticks. There will even be two DJs and an official prom photographer and prom portrait artist to commemorate the night. The theme this year is "Enchantment Under the Sea," so make sure to bring your mermaid gear (or just your highly coveted beta copy of Splash). [EaterWire]

PIKE PLACE MARKET— Speaking of enchanted seas, Tom Douglas is hosting his fourth annual Salmon-Chanted Evening on both June 29 and August 17 to raise money for the Seattle Parks Department. The Douglas camp says, "We feel that this event is as important as ever, especially in light of the recent violence that has occurred at Victor Steinbrueck Park." The event runs from 5 to 7 pm and tickets are $20, with all proceeds going directly to the parks department. The menu this year includes: grilled salmon with fennel aioli, toasted hazelnut and rice salad, green beans, and watermelon and feta salad. More than $30,000 has been raised in the last four years through these dinners. You can purchase tickets online or in-person at Etta's and Seatown. [EaterWire]
