The line-up for the next Foodportunity has been announced. On Monday October 28, Tom Douglas Restaurants, The Inn at Langley, McCracken & Tough, Ray's Boathouse and Dinette will join newcomers Le Zinc, La Bodega, and lots of other restaurant and food purveyors for a night of tasting, mingling and networking as part of this annual (always sold-out) event. Also in the house: a more intimate Q&A session with chef and cookbook authors, Mark Fuller (Ma'ono), Mark Bitterman (The Meadow), and Becky Selengut (Cornucopia). The event takes place from 6 to 9 pm at Palace Ballroom. Tickets are $25 (early bird price) and can be purchased online. [EaterWire]
