Purple, Barrio Team Opens 'The Commons' in Woodinville

The Commons, that new cafe bound for the old Tully's corner space in the Hollywood Vineyards Shopping Plaza in Woodinville, is now open. The Heavy Restaurant Group (Purple Cafe & Wine Bar, Barrio, Lot No. 3) quietly opened it over the weekend, in the same complex where they opened the very first Purple in 2001.

The Commons is part morning espresso bar, part breakfast grab-and-go/dine-in (there's also morning cocktails). By afternoon, the place goes full-service, extending into happy hour and dinner. Yeah, there's a lot of stuff going on (Exhibit A: the food menu). Camp Commons says, "In a few weeks, we will begin to feature a fun assortment of nightly specials such as BBQ Night and Breakfast for Dinner.

This week, hours are as follows:
Wed-Thur, 8 am to 10 pm
Fri-Sat, 8 am to 12 am
Sun, 8 am to 10 pm

Next week, regular hours:
M-F, 6 am to midnight
Sat, 7 am to midnight
Sun, 7 am to 10 pm
