PIKE PLACE MARKET— If Seattle Magazine is correct, Rachel's Ginger Beer will open in the former Seattle's Best Coffee space on Sunday. Once open, Rachel Marshall says her place will be a combination of soda fountain and bar, serving floats using Cupcake Royale ice cream by day, and Moscow mules and other ginger and not-so-gingery cocktails by night. The RGB Facebook page is the best bet for opening day specifics. [Seattle Mag]
INTERNATIONAL DISTRICT— More than 30 restaurants, including 11 newbies, will be part of the biggest pan-Asian street fairs known as Dragon Fest. Seattle Met reports that this year, organizers promise new food trucks and an extra city block of restaurants. Eateries throughout the I.D. will be offering a variety of $2 tastes from China, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, and more. The festival will also have an all-day outdoor Japanese beer and sake garden. [Seattle Met]
