SEATTLE— Today, Tom Douglas wraps up a seven-year stretch of culinary summer camp. And he went out with a bang. The popular five-day series that fetches top dollar for an embarrassing amount of food, booze, and some of Seattle's best chefs (for for only about 40 guests), ended with cooking demos and tastes from Jon Sundstrom (Lark), Jason Franey (Canlis), Miles James (Dot's Delicatessen), and Ethan Stowell. Douglas is ending camp to make time for his new culinary center. But when asked if he'd ever bring back camp he says, "Never say never." [EaterWire]
CAPITOL HILL— If you can't beat 'em. As an homage to its pending doom, Bauhaus Coffee is offering a limited edition wrecking ball t-shirt that will be on sale starting with tonight's art walk (6 to 9 pm). CHS has more info on the wrecking ball sitch. [EaterWire]
