The Columbia Building, which houses Noc Noc is getting a makeover that includes replacing the goth nightclub with The Elysian, as well as bringing in Cherry Street Coffee. Puget Sound Business Journal reports that Seattle real estate company Urban Visions bought the four-story building on Tuesday, and plans to gussy up the property, which isn't exactly the most magnetic kid on the block — yet.
Urban Visions CEO Greg Smith tells PSBJ that they'll paint the Columbia Building red, add flower baskets and rename the building Chromer, which is a type of steelhead fish. Oh, Seattle.
Smith says they don't have any financing for the project yet, but he's "very confident we'll have the capital in place to proceed early next year."
