SEATTLE— Chandler's Crabhouse is hosting its first 25-cent happy hour tonight (from 3pm until close) — it's the first of 25 scheduled-at-random happy hours of its kind in honor of the seafood house's 25th anniversary. The deal is extended to Dungeness crab and artichoke dip, hand-rolled salmon rolls, seared ahi tuna, blue beef, ahi tuna tartare and ceviche. In addition, seasonal oysters in the half-shell are only $1.25 each and drink specials include a house red and white wine for $2.25 and Coors Light for $1.25. The rub? Guests must "Like" the Chandler's Crabhouse Facebook page and show their phones to a server to receive special pricing. Oh, and each guest is limited to one of each 25-cent appetizer. [EaterWire]
FREMONT— Hunger is celebrating its third birthday this Sunday from 6 to 8 pm. Owner Brian Brooks says, "We will be preparing a giant paella and serving $3 plates as well as $1 bubbles and free birthday cake from Sweet Teeth Bakery to all that stop by to partake in the festivities. It is a huge milestone for us and something we are truly excited to be doing." [EaterWire]
WOODINVILLE— If you want to make yourself hungry, Thrillist has some nice food shots of the new Woodinville cafe from the Heavy Restaurant Group. The Commons, which opened last week (officially), has an extensive menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner options. They also double as an espresso bar for early risers and serve until midnight.
