Confirmed! Jason Wilson Steakhouse On Its Way

Turns out it's true.

The Oregonian confirms their initial report that Jason Wilson is opening a steak house in downtown Seattle. Wilson confirms it, too.

The name of the joint is The Miller's Guild, and it will take over the space in the Max Hotel cuirrently occupied by Red Fin. The centerpiece of the restaurant will be a custom-made 9-foot-long Infierno wood-fired grill.

Portland restaurateur Kurt Huffman will be a partner in the venture, which will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as room service for hotel guests. Jake Kosseff, who's currently wine director at Wilson's Crush, will move downtown as general manager of the new steakhouse.
