Looks like a new beer garden isn't too far off at Hilliard's Beer in Ballard.
UPDATE: Just heard from Team Hilliard's. They say they plan on completing the patio area this week, but the railing will most likely take a couple more weeks.
Here is some general information, straight from Hilliard's mouth:
- The patio area is 25ft x 40ft of cast concrete with an exposed aggregate finish. This should create a more pedestrian friendly area for throwing back beers.
- We have partnered with our favorite local metal worker to come up with a multipurpose railing and bench system. There will be opportunities to add lighting at a later date and power outlets (for those pesky cell phones and laptops). We also plan to provide power for our favorite food trucks so that they don't have to run their generators while they are serving food at our place.
We hope to continue to make NW 49th St a better place to be while adding to our thriving Ballard Beer Culture!
