SEATTLE— Seattle-based Urbanspoon is now partnering with long-time rival OpenTable. The company's blog has all the info, but basically, the partnership includes OpenTable's acquisition of Urbanspoon's reservation system, Rezbook. Says U'spoon, "This means great things here at Urbanspoon, not least of which is increased coverage across thousands of restaurants via the world's leading provider of online restaurant reservations." SEATTLESeattle Met has a list of local establishments that take bacon to the extreme. Making the cut: Some Random Bar's chocolate-dipped bacon (pictured), the tempura-fried Kurobuta thick-cut bacon at John Howie Steak and the deep-fired anger dog at Po Dog, which is a hot dog wrapped in bacon and dunked in the fryer.
