Petra Mediterranean Bistro Opening on Westlake

The focus of last week's Seattle Times review is expanding. Petra is opening a second location on Westlake Avenue, next door to Barolo. Owner-chef Khal Beleh says the new place will be more of a cafe, serving coffee all day and serving lunch Monday through Friday (no dinner) offering some of Petra's most popular dishes and a wide range of pastries. The plan is to open around the first week of September. Petra 2.0 will be open Monday through Friday, 7 am to 4 pm and Saturdays 8 am to 3pm. While there won't be lunch served Saturdays, Beleh says he's considering breakfast.
