MyBallard reports that the owners of Aster Coffee Lounge are mixing things up and transforming their cafe into Toast Ballard. Frank Trevino and Ashley Bucenec tell the blog that it was time for a change and that their new place will have more and fancier food options and (eventually) a cocktail menu. They also say the place will have a more modern look to it. Toast could be open as soon as Friday. [MyBallard]
