Meander's has a new home. It's moved one block south into a smaller space. The switch comes just 10 months after the restaurant relocated from their tiny spot on California Avenue (where Harry's Chicken now stands) to a much larger space in White Center.
Owner Miranda Krone writes on Facebook:
Feeling a bit like Goldilocks: "This restaurant's too small! This one's tooo big! And *this* one's just right!" Mostly, though, really excited to have found a space in White Center that will really work for us.
Krone has moved Meander's less than two blocks south to 9809 16th Ave S.W.:
It's brighter, it's more cheerful, there are comfy seats, and there's more than twice as much space dedicated to making food, while still keeping about 50 seats total in the dining area. And there's a giant rainbow. I mean, giant. You know how we do.
Meander's is open today from 9 am to 3 pm, Saturday from 8 am to 3 pm, Sunday 9 am to 3 pm and Monday (Labor Day) 8 am to 3 pm. It will be closed Tuesday.
