Chef, restaurateur, and Seattle scion Mario Batali has signed a deal for two cookbooks. The first one will be written in collaboration with Washington Post writer Jim Webster, and will "look at farmers and their top products in 12 American states across the country – from Maine to Seattle – and will include 70 recipes that utilize these local ingredients."
