WEST SEATTLE— West Seattle Blog has an update on two neighborhood restaurants: Quadrato and Brickyard. The former, an Italian eatery in The Junction owned and operated by the guy who runs Pizzeria 22, is slated to open as early as next Monday. The website is up and running, with a menu to follow. The long-shuttered Brickyard, meanwhile, appears to have new owners. WSB reports a liquor license has been posted under the name Milo's Brickyard Grill. [WSB]
BALLARD— Kickin' Boot Whiskey Kitchen is rolling out a "cowboy brunch" menu for football Sundays that includes seven plasma screens (with full sound-on) for Seahawks games. On the menu: chicken & waffles, steak & eggs, Kickin' griddles, and "manmosas," which is really just a mimosa in a pint glass. [EaterWire]
