Gastropod, the small brewpub inside Epic Ales in Sodo, boasts a "daringly creative" menu, so says Providence Cicero in her Seattle Times review this week. Epic's ales, she says, "flatter Gastropod's eclectic menu, a roster of roughly 10 items, listed by price, ranging from $3 to $15. It changes each Tuesday and runs for the week." She seemed to really enjoy everything she ate, including the Okonomiyaki, which is a menu staple "because [chef Travis] Kukull thinks it's amazing bar food. The two versions I tried certainly were."
