Here's a look inside Bar Cantinetta, which opened for dinner on Friday. The smaller, more wine-focused Cantinetta off-shoot is led by chef Emran Chowdhury, who oversees the menus at the other two locations (Wallingford, Bellevue). Currently on the menu: arancini (fried risotto balls), scamorza (smoked mozzarella) and summer peas; Quilceda farm duck egg, black truffles, bread; polenta, soppresatta salami, poached farm egg; bombolotti alla bolognese, parmesan fonduta.
Bar Cantinetta is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11:30 am to 10 pm and Fridays and Saturdays until 11 pm. Both brunch and dinner is served Sundays.
