Week in Reviews

The Stranger picks up this week's sluggish review slack by knocking out two of them: a Scandinavian bakery-off between Byen Bakeri and Nielsen's. The former is a two-month old spot on Nickerson already known for their Kringle, "a sinfully large slab of blueberry—cream cheese strudel with a spot-on streusel topping." The long-standing Nielsen's is where you go for a "Nielsen potato," which will presumably "kick your everyday eclair's ass." There's also a mention of a pastry happy hour. [The Stranger]
